Edison Da Silva Teixeira
Hi. I’m
Edison Patrice da Silva Teixeira, family and friends call me Eddie or Edison
just like my wife likes to call me. Currently, I’m in year 3 on BA Hons.
International Tourism Management programme at University of East London (UEL).
A
few things about me:
I
was born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. I lived there for 12 years, and
then moved to Lisbon, Portugal, to live with my mother. We moved around lot when
I was younger. I
recently moved to London, UK in an effort to chase my dreams, get a degree in
Business Management and become a successful entrepreneur.
I
have a strong interest in a wide range of music and enjoy keeping fit. Also
enjoy watching movies and socialising and to keep up-to-date with current
affairs through reading newspapers and browsing the Internet. Professionally, I
worked for 12 years within this company, I was initially working as a Crew
member; I was promptly promoted to various other roles within the organisation
upon recognition of hard work; Trainer, Team Coordinator, Assistant Manager
until I was laid off. But that was probably on of the best thing that ever happened
to me. Now I’m living focused in my long term objectives and pursing me dreams.
My
biggest passion is motivating other people. I have over 10 yearsa training experience
in working and motivating others, not just professionally. If a family member
or a friend needs help, we would go one-to-one to help solve the problem.
